Mr. James A. Columbo, 93, died on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at the Veterans Hospital in East Orange.
Services will be held in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona on Wednesday, October 24 at 10:30 a.m. Visiting on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m.

Born in Orange, Mr. Columbo lived in West Orange for 43 years prior to moving to Verona 15 years ago. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army, having fought in the Battle of the Bulge during World War II. Mr. Columbo played the piano, was an artist and draftsman by trade.

He is the brother of Margaret Columbo, Ann Columbo, Mary Abato, William J. Columbo, the late Thomas Columbo and the late Frances Waters. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
