Yup, that’s right: Manny, Moe and Jack are headed our way, and soon. Pep Boys is taking over the long vacant Chrysler showroom at the intersection of Pompton and Bloomfield Avenues.
A company spokesman says the national auto service chain will be filing permits for interior renovations and signage, but it intends to keep the Chrysler-logo shaped room at the western side of the building. He says Pep Boys hopes to be open in Verona before the beginning of February next year.
