Blessing Of The Animals At First Presbyterian

This coming Sunday, August 5, the First Presbyterian Church of Verona is holding its annual Blessing of the Animals. The event starts at 5:30 p.m.

The church is inviting the community to bring their dogs (on leash, please), cats, birds, hamsters, fish, lizards and other pets. The blessing will take place on the front lawn of the church, which is located at 10 Fairview Avenue just off Bloomfield Avenue on the west side of Verona.

The blessing will move inside if there is rain.
