Barbara Piercy lives in Verona but works as the music minister at The First Presbyterian Church at Caldwell. She’s sent us a note announcing a choir camp for children who will be entering grades three through six in the fall.

The theme of this year’s camp is a riff on the David and Goliath story entitled “The Rock Slinger and His Greatest Hit”.

Camp runs from August 20 to 26, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. most days. There’s a fun field trip and a performance at the Crane’s Mill retirement center, and sleepover before the final rehearsal.

The camp costs $75 and participation is limited to 40 children. For more information and the registration form, call the church at (973) 228-0310.
