If your child is in special education classes in Verona, you may already know about Bookshare, a free online library of digital books for individuals with visual impairments, physical disabilities and learning disabilities. You may not already know how to use it, since the set-up is a little complicated.

If so, or if you are new to Bookshare, you should come to the Verona High School Media Center on Wednesday, January 11, for a Bookshare training seminar. There are two sessions, one at 3 p.m. and then at 7 p.m., and they are open to parents of students with learning disabilities, teachers and qualifying students. Each session will last about an hour.

If you want to attend, you need to RSVP today to Jennifer Stier, the learning disabilities coordinator, by e-mail or phone at calling 973-571-2029, ext. 5023 or 6021.
