The Super Essex Conference has announced its All Conference selections for football’s Independent Division and several Verona High School players got the nod.

Running back Frank Greco and center Nick Rollo made first team offense, while guard Joe Pami and tackle Luke Weiss were named second team offense. Defensive end Luke Sniatkowski was named first team defense, as were outside backer Jack Cummings and defensive back Billy Meade. Outside backer Matt McKeown and defensive back Alex Dellavalle were named second team defense.

Several Verona players were also among the Star Ledger’s picks in its fall season wrap-up. Greco was named second team offense on the paper’s all-junior team, while Weiss and quarterback Frank Ferrari were picked for the office on the freshman/sophomore team. McKeown made defense on that team, while Ferrari, whose father was also once a VHS QB, was named freshman of the year as well. Meade, a senior, was named third team defense all Essex.
