Sarah Frawley of the Verona High School girls volleyball team has been selected Senior Athlete of the Week. In wins this past week over Belleville and Newark-based University High School, Frawley served up nine aces, slammed 10 kills and had four digs. She has 19 kills and nine digs so far this season. She has also been a member of the VHS softball team.
During the 2011-2012 school year, the Verona Sports Boosters will be recognizing a different senior athlete at Verona High School every week. The Boosters support male and female athletes in all VHS sports through a variety of fundraisers and recognition events.
