Mrs. Catherine C. Krengel, 99, died on Friday, July 29, 2011 in Cedar Grove. A funeral mass will be offered in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Cedar Grove, on Saturday, August 6 at 10:30 a.m.
Born and raised in Jersey City, Mrs. Krengel lived in Deltona, Fla. and Cedar Grove prior to moving to Verona 10 years ago. She was a graduate of Dickerson High School and worked in sales at Schulman’s Dress Shop in Jersey City.
Mrs. Krengel is the wife of the late Hugo George Krengel, the aunt of Patricia Griffin and her husband George and James M. Kelly and his wife Joyce. She was predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Vera Carroll.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Catherine of Siena Church, 339 Pompton Avenue, Cedar Grove, NJ 07009 would be appreciated.
