Mrs. B Has Died

Rebecca Burkhart, the long-time children’s librarian at the Verona Public Library better known as “Mrs. B”, passed away yesterday. She had retired from the library in March. Library Director Jim Thomas says that there will be a memorial service for her, but does not yet have details. We will publish them as soon as they are available.

  1. Mrs. B gave so much of her time and enthusiasm to the children of Verona, she will never be forgotten. Rest in peace Sweet Lady, you will be sorely missed.
