The big town-wide garage sale to support Verona High School’s junior class is this Saturday, April 30, and there are an astounding 129 homes participating. There are more garage sales in some individual neighborhoods this year than there have been in the entire sale in years past.
You can pick up a map to all the locations at VHS on Saturday morning. Or you can use this one to plan your bargain hunting around Verona starting now. If the sellers have something specific, we’ve listed it on the map marker. There’s furniture and baby stuff galore, and plenty of unusual treasures, like a 1953 Chambers oven, a hot tub and a 2003 Harley Davidson Heritage. The town-wide garage sale starts at 9 a.m. and goes until 4 p.m. NO EARLY BIRDS. Cash only, please.
