Verona resident Franco Del Barba has a French restaurant in Montclair called Epernay. The menu recently got an addition to its classic brasserie dishes like steak frites and bouillabaisse: live music. Tuesday nights have been transformed into a supper club that highlights talented performers in our area.

Tonight and next Tuesday, September 28, the featured artist will be Michael Robinson, currently a freshman at Montclair State University’s music theater program. Robinson starred in Montclair High School’s production of Miss Saigon last May. Del Barba says Robinson will be singing songs from Broadway shows and newer pop tunes.

Epernay is located at 6 Park Street just off Bloomfield Avenue in the center of Montclair. The restaurant is open Tuesday through Saturday from 5 to 10 p.m.
