If you haven’t yet made plans to attend the Oktoberfest at Our Lady of the Lake Saturday, October 16, the baskets and silent auction items may sway your decision.

Baskets like a reserved table for 4 with the chef of CulinAriane in Montclair, Ariane Duarte, who is an OLL School alumnae and a former contestant on Bravo TV’s Top Chef show. OLL will also hold a silent auction for a lavish overnight stay at Frungillo CaterersSkylands Castle. How lavish? Try a private, five-course, sit-down dinner for 10, wine pairing, use of five overnight rooms and a full breakfast the next morning.

The OLL Oktoberfest runs from 6:30 to 11:30 p.m., under a tent in the OLL parking lot. You’ve got to be 21 to attend, since there will be lots of beer flowing, including a special home brew, microbrews, imports and domestics, as well as soft drinks and water. There will also be traditional German food, a pig roast, and live entertainment and admission includes a commemorative mug.

Tickets are $60.00 per person and you can get the form to reserve yours or make a donation here.  Limited tickets are available at the event. Tickets can also be ordered through OLL’s Web site. For more information, e-mail [email protected] or call 973-239-1042.
