Party smart, folks. Police forces across the state are conducting a coordinated crackdown on drunk driving through Labor Day. The state Division of Highway Traffic Safety has doled out grants of $4,400 each to 187 police departments–including those of several towns surrounding Verona–so they can step up DWI arrests.
