Mr. Anthony J. D’Agosto, 86, passed away on Tuesday March 23, 2010.

A funeral mass will be offered in Our Lady of the Lake Church, Verona on Friday March 26 at 10 a.m. Visiting in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Ave., Verona on Thursday 2-5 and 7-9 p.m.

Born in Jersey City, Mr. D’Agosto lived in Verona for 34 years prior to moving to Brick in 1992. He was a tool & die supervisor for Krementz & Co. in Newark. Mr. D’Agosto served in the Navy during World War II and was a member of the Verona Lions Club.

He is the husband of Carmela “Millie” D’Agosto, the father of Carmel-Ann Rutman and her husband Lenny; Anthony D’Agosto and his companion Lisa Zeller; Louis D’Agosto and his wife Susanne. He is also the grandfather of Tyler Rutman, Michele, Anthony, Nicholas, Louis, Matthew, Daniel and Christina D’Agosto, J.R. Zeller and the great grandfather of Giannah Kenstler.
