You’ve already rung in 2010; now it’s time to celebrate the Year of the Tiger.
Northern Huaxia Chinese School, the Chinese language and culture school that meets at VHS on Saturday afternoons, will have a Chinese New Year celebration on Saturday, February 6 in the Verona High School cafeteria.
NHXCS Principal Bin Cai says the school will have a performance by its students and invited guests from 2 to 3:30 p.m., followed by a dinner, games, and karaoke. The event is open to public, and the performances are free. But dinner, catered by Cedar Grove’s catered by Chengdu #1, is by reservation only and costs $10 per person.
