Judith Ann Harrington, 82 of Toms River, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Sunday May 26, 2024.

Judy was born in Orange, N.J. on October 8, 1941 as the daughter of the late Walter and Viola Kochanowski (Jackson). She was raised in Orange before moving to Verona in 1964 to raise her family.

Judy was a devoted wife and homemaker who worked for several companies before retiring from her position in the warehouse for Vision Spec.

She was a wonderful mother who was always there when you needed her the most, offering support, advice, and love to family and friends as she welcomed them into her home. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Judy is survived by her husband of 65 years, William J Harrington; her beloved children, Christine Starrs (Wayne) Michael Harrington (Shirley) and Karen Finelli (Michael); her 12 beautiful grandchildren, Shannon, Devin, Kaelen, Robert, Anthony, Hatherine, Hailey, Michael Jr, Jenna, Cassidy, Maria and Daniel; her 4 precious great-grandchildren, Kylie, Wesley, Kinsley and Cameron; a sister, Barbara Mongiovi (John) her 3 brothers John, Terry, and Robert Kochanowski; and many nieces nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother Walter Kochanowski.

A celebration of life is being planned, and you may check back to this website for updated details.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association by visiting www.alz.org or mailing your donation to Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
