At the Verona Lions Club 73rd annual Charter Night held at Glen Ridge Country Club on Wednesday, June 12, President Bob Mathers presented 35-year member and current club Secretary Myron Spektor with a Melvin Jones Fellowship, the highest honor awarded by Lions Clubs International. Also with Myron was his wife, Dale, daughter Sara Drappi and other Melvin Jones recipients in attendance from the Verona Lions Club.
The club also installed its newest club member, Jim Day (right), a long-time Verona resident. In attendance was Jim’s wife Erika, as well as 42 members and guests.
