Mrs. Sorina Margaret Wille, 85, of Barnegat, New Jersey (formerly of Verona) died peacefully on June 16, 2024 at Chilton Hospital in Pequannock Township.
Visiting will be held in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona on Wednesday, June 19 from 4 to 7 p.m. A service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, June 20 at 11 a.m., with interment to follow in Mt. Hebron Cemetery.
Born and raised in Montclair, Mrs. Wille lived in Verona for 40 years before moving to Barnegat in 2003. She graduated from Montclair High School with the Class of 1956. On December 21, 1963 she married the love of her life, Francis Richard Wille in the Montgomery Presbyterian Church in Bloomfield.
She worked as a secretary for the Brooke-Parker Company, an advertising agency in Montclair, prior to raising her daughters.
Mrs. Wille was formerly a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Verona.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Francis Richard Wille; her daughter, Christina M. Wille; and her parents, Hendrik Bertil Gronquist and Svea Margareta Gustavson Gronquist.
Mrs. Wille is survived by her loving daughter, Linette Ascough.
