What specific cost-cutting or service-sharing tactic from another town would you like to bring to Verona and why?
I would like to explore the feasibility of merging our Municipal Court with one or two surrounding towns. There are several examples throughout new Jersey that exist and some new ones being contemplated as well. I know there is much work involved in determining logistics, however, it may be a very fiscally sound arrangement. Also, we may be able to share police, fire and rescue services. I would at least explore the possibilities. Of course, sharing road and maintenance equipment is always a good idea. There are a number of other ideas I have, but I realize the time constraints we have at this forum.
