Library Board Seeks Student Representatives

The Verona Public Library’s Board of Trustees is looking to add two student representatives in September. One student should be a junior this fall and the other a senior, and both will serve during the 2024-2025 school year. Applications are being accepted through Friday, June 7, and applicants must be Verona residents.

The Library says that the student representatives will be non-voting advisory members of the Board. They will be tasked with developing a better relationship between the Library and Verona’s young people. The students must be able to attend monthly Board meetings, which are generally held on the third Thursday of the month, except in August and December.

Interested students can apply online here.
