The Verona Public Library Foundation will proudly celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Township’s historic Carnegie building on Thursday, October 12, from 7 to 9 p.m. during the “100 Years of Carnegie” Gala. This event marks a century of knowledge, community, and progress, as we gather to celebrate the Library’s centennial in its original 1923 location, which was made possible by a generous grant from the Carnegie Foundation.

All residents and library supporters are cordially invited to be part of this special occasion. The event will take place in the historic library building at 17 Gould Street in Verona. By purchasing a ticket to the Gala, you will have a memorable experience and contribute to a fundraiser that will shape the future of the Library and enrich the lives of Verona residents.

Here’s what you can look forward to:

  • Culinary Delights: Savor delectable food by a favorite local restaurant. Wine and beer will also be served. This event is 21+ only.
  • The Chance to Win: Participate in a silent & online auction while contributing to the Library’s growth and impact.
  • Short Film: Immerse yourself in a captivating short film by a Verona filmmaker, showcasing Verona’s history and the Library’s milestones.
