For Women’s History Month in March, the Verona Public Library and the township’s Multicultural Inclusion & Accessibility Advisory Committee (MIAAC) are seeking nominations for Verona women who have had an impact on our town. But if you are going to nominate someone, you will have to act fast: The application deadline is Sunday, March 5.

According to Library Director Claudine Pascale, who also serves on MIAAC, the goal is to pick five women who have had an impact through their volunteer or paid work, and showcase their contributions at a “Women of Impact” panel scheduled for Sunday, March 26, at the library.

Nominees should be women who reside in Verona and are ages 18 years and older. You’ll need to give some information on your reasons for making the nomination and the nominee’s achievements. Pascale says that all applications will be reviewed by the organizers.

The form to use is on the Library’s website.
