UNICO Verona Donates To Italian Collection At Verona Library

The Verona Chapter of UNICO National, the nation’s largest Italian-American service organization, has made yet another donation to the Italian Collection of books at the Verona Public Library.

The collection, which was started by UNICO Verona over 15 years ago, is located on the second floor of the library and the donated books have the UNICO logo on their spine. The 17 new titles and their authors are:

  • The Leopard – Giuseppe Di Lampedusa
  • The Periodic Table – Primo Levi
  • The Drowned and Saved – Primo Levi
  • Survival in Auschwitz – Primo Levi
  • The Cloven Viscount – Italo Calvino
  • Last Comes the Raven – Italo Calvino
  • The Written Word and the Unwritten Word – Italo Calvino
  • The Artist, the Philosopher, and the Warrior – Paul Strathem
  • The Venetians – Paul Strathem
  • Sicily – John Julius Norwich
  • Italian Lessons – Beppe Severgnini
  • My Two Italies – Joseph Luzzi
  • Stolen Figs – Mark Rotella
  • Cobblestones, Conversations, and Corks – Giovanni Ruscitti
  • The Vietri Project – Nicola DeRobertis-Theye
