‘Hello Dolly!” Returns To VHS Stage After 45 Years

In 1978, under the direction of David Deitz and Harry Owens, the VHS Dramatics Club (now known as The Spotlight Players) presented the beloved musical, “Hello Dolly!” This year, under the guidance of Steven Munoz (director/producer), Paul Salierno (music director), Jana Lawson (choreographer), Amanda Hyland (assistant director), Krystal Costa (student assistant director) and Stephanie Zimany (stage manager), the show will return to the VHS stage on March 2 to 4 at 7 p.m. and March 4 at 2 p.m.

The show features Leila Brolly as Dolly Gallagher Levi, James Shorten as Horace Vandergelder, Nic Canal as Cornelius Hackl, Olivia Egan as Irene Malloy, Emma DePaul as Minnie Fay, Arlen Halliday as Barnaby Tucker, Lauren Ryan as Ermengarde, Aidan Azarowicz as Ambrose, Faith Brolly as Ernestina, Andrew Conte as Rudolph Reisenweber, Nick Boake as Stanley and Sofia Greco as Mrs. Rose. Rounding out the cast are ensemble members Fiona Church, Julia Zysk, Eve Kershaw, Caity Eng, Dylan Frey, Stephen Bartell, Andrew Ackerman, Luca Tedesco, Titus Halliday, Jack Huze, Sarah Wynne, Amanda Visone, Kaelin Walsh, Grace McMahan, Nolani Lloyd, Brielle Marchese, Eva Lalande, Sophia Nunez, Caitlyn Heimerle, Sophie Beaubouef, Abby Shust, and Julia Komninos. Courtney Cullen serves as the dance captain.
