Kindergarten registration for the Verona Public Schools will take place from Monday, January 9, to Friday, January 13. Parents whose children will be five years old before October 1, 2023 are urged to register new kindergarten students during this period. All newly registered kindergarten students will be included in pre-Kindergarten preparations and orientation meetings planned at the individual schools in the spring.
Enrollment packets will be available at each of the elementary schools between the hours of 7:45 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. and on the district website. Completed enrollment form, birth certificate and acceptable proofs of residence (listed below) must be brought, scanned or faxed to the school no later than Friday, January 13. Medical forms are due by June 2.
Acceptable documents for proof of residency and identity:
1) Primary Proof of Residency in Verona:
– Renting: signed, non-expired lease
– Homeowner: current mortgage statement, property tax bill, deed or HUD settlement statement, and
2) Secondary Proof of Residency
– Current utility bill, insurance bill, cable bill, bank statement showing correct address
3) Parent/Guardian ID (Driver’s License or Passport) as proof of identity
