To get ready for Verona Fights Hunger Week in October, the Verona Junior Women’s Club and Sustainable Verona are looking for residents to donate any reusable shopping bags that they don’t need.

You can put clean bags in special bins located in the Verona Municipal Building, the Verona Community Center and the Verona Public Library.

The collection will run through September 30.

Verona Fights Hunger is a week-long, annual food drive organized by the Juniors to benefit the Holy Spirit Food Pantry in Verona and the Human Needs Food Pantry in Montclair.
