VeronaTogether is hosting the Verona Fights Cancer Charity Cornhole Tournament on Saturday, August 27, from 3 to 7 p.m. in front of Verona Town Hall. This year’s event is the 4th annual tournament and returns after a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19.
While the event is sold out to players, a silent auction will be held featuring items such as full-size Marvel arcade games, Tiffany jewelry, electric guitars, Bose headphone and much more.
This year’s benefactors are the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, The Valerie Fund, and Goryeb Children’s Hospital. The charities were chosen by the Cappello and Gebbia families, who both have children in Verona fighting brave battles against cancer.
Spectators are welcome and free of charge at the event. Come cheer on the players and bid on some of these incredible items.
