Every year for the last few years, members of Congress have invited middle- and high-school students to participate in the Congressional App Challenge, a competition to spark student interest in coding. This year’s competition is now taking submissions.

Students can participate in teams of up to four and must live or go to school in the district to qualify. (Verona was moved into the 10th congressional district from the 11th earlier this year, so keep that in might when you apply.) Students can submit an app from June 15 to November 1, 2022.
