The Verona Chamber of Commerce’s Verona Community Market, which had a soft launch last month, is kicking off in earnest this Sunday, June 5. The open-air market is located at 271 Grove Avenue in Verona, near The Compound Coffee Co. and will open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Market activities and vendors, all local small businesses and non-profits, will change throughout the summer. This Sunday’s kids activities include free face painting from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and a yoga class at noon.
Food vendors this Sunday are Paolo’s Kitchen, The Thai Elephant, Vegan Meatballin’, Crumbtastic, and Eden’s Sweet Ideas.
The businesses and non-profits include Parcel of Cheer, The Performing Arts Project NJ, Sweet Fig, Alpha Fit Club, I Love Sara’s Nails, Urban League of Essex County, Kitsune Tale Productions, JW1LoveDesigns, The Youngsters, Stoneclean Soap, Scout & Cellar, Wilson Family Farms, Sparkles Bling Beauty, Peluso Orthodontics, Cannapalooza Nursery, Eriimarie Tie-dyes, MamasteCalm, Something Clay, SimplyBSkin and JAÉ candles + co.
Local small businesses can apply to be vendors at future markets by filling out this form. Vendors can apply for one of four four-week spots at a cost of $100 for the four weeks.
