The Verona Public Library is bringing back its popular “Read to a Dog” program, now called “Paws & Pages,” where children can read aloud to a dog to practice their reading skills.

Young readers in grades Kindergarten through 4th grade are invited to read to a certified therapy dog in 15-minute time slots. Children can bring a book from home, or select a title from the library’s shelves.

The program will take place on Wednesday, May 25th at 6 p.m. Registration for this program is required. Visit https://www.veronalibrary.org/events/paws-pages/ or call the library at (973) 857-4848 to reserve your slot.
