On Sunday, March 27 at 5 p.m. the Verona Clergy Council is hosting an interfaith unity service for peace that will include speakers, prayers and music. The Clergy Council includes B’nai Shalom, Calvary Lutheran, First Presbyterian, Holy Spirit Episcopal, Islamic Center of Verona and Our Lady of the Lake.

“As we watch the unrest in Ukraine, our hearts are heavy witnessing history repeating itself,” the Council said in a statement. “Join in community to pray for peace in our world.”

The service will be held at Holy Spirit Episcopal Church, located at 36 Gould Street in Verona. For more information visit www.holyspiritverona.org or contact a clergy leader at one of the sponsoring houses of worship.
