Verona Township and the Verona Chamber of Commerce will hold a presentation on the Master Plan process for Verona business owners on Tuesday, March 22 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Hearth Realty, 460 Bloomfield Ave. Light refreshments and coffee from Dolce Marie will be served.
The Master Plan shapes the physical, social, environmental, and economic future of the community. It provides a framework for preserving Verona’s character, supporting investment, and promoting desired changes. Verona has been working on the plan process since last October and hopes have the new plan completed by mid-year.
You can read more about the Master Plan process here and, if you have not already done so, take a brief survey to share your thoughts about what should be in the plan.
“This is extremely important for all business owners to be aware of and actively participate in,” says Steve Neale, Verona’s director of administration & economic development. “This will shape things happening around you and the rest of the community.”
If you are not a business owner in town but want to get more information about the Master Plan, there will be a workshop for the community on Tuesday, March 29 at 7 p.m. at the Verona Community Center.
