When Catrina LaRosa’s son Micco was being treated for a rare liver disease seven years ago, she says the Cappello family contributed to all the fundraisers for his care. Now, LaRosa is paying their generosity forward with a beauty fundraiser to benefit the Cappello’s six-year-old son Dominic, who is battling brain cancer.
LaRosa will hold “DOMinate Your Style” beauty tutorial sessions at her Banshee + Co. salon in Caldwell on Sunday March 20 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be makeup and hairstyling sessions for $30 by appointment only, and custom St. Patrick’s Day hair extensions at $10 each with no appointment necessary. There will be vegan snacks from Verona-based Veganmeatballin’, discounts on hair care and other products, and a chance to win a gift basket.
