Parking Lot Crash Damages Cars

On Saturday, February 12, at about 1:30 p.m., the Verona Police Department responded to a motor vehicle crash in the parking lot behind the Berkshire Hathaway real estate office, Baked Bouquet, Green Point Juicery and the Rosemarie’s Rescue Ranch thrift store. Witnesses told the police that a black Mercedes SUV struck multiple vehicles, which you can see in the video below that the VPD posted to its Facebook page.

The VPD arrested a 41-year-old West Caldwell man. He was charged with the eight motor vehicle summonses, including Driving Under the Influence of Liquor or Drugs (DUI). According to the VPD, the man was also found to be in possession of heroin and charged accordingly.
