Mental Health Town Hall Monday

Rep. Mikie Sherrill (D-NJ11) is holding a telephone town hall on mental health today, Monday, February 7, at 5:15 p.m. She will be joined by local mental health and medical experts to help answer questions from residents.

Sherrill will be joined by Bob Davison, chief executive of the Mental Health Association of Essex and Morris; Dr. Deb Koss, a child and adolescent psychiatrist and the immediate past president of the New Jersey Psychiatric Association; Fred Douglas, a school counselor at Parsippany High School and president of the Morris County Professional Counselor Association; and Dr. Charlene Gungil, director and health officer of the Passaic County Department of Health Services.

To participate, register at sherrill.house.gov/live. Once you are registered for the town hall, you will receive a phone call shortly before the event that will allow you to listen in and ask questions. The town hall will also stream live at 5:15 p.m. on Sherrill’s website.
