On Thursday, February 10, at 7 p.m., the Verona Public Library will present a special dramatization of the life of Paul Robeson to celebrate Black History Month and to honor a remarkable New Jersey native.

Robeson, one of the most well known African-Americans of the 20th century, was a renaissance man: a social activist, singer, scholar, actor, all-American athlete, intellectual, lawyer, linguist, humanist and advocate for international peace. Actor Marvin Jefferson will bring him to life through this first person historical characterization. A question and answer session will also be included.
