Ms. Marilyn M. Dodge (nee Major), 77, died in Glen Ridge, on Thursday, September 16, 2021.

Visiting will be in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Ave., Verona on Tuesday, September 21 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with a service at 12 p.m. Facial masks are requested. Interment at Mt. Hebron Cemetery.

Born in Glen Ridge, Marilyn was a lifelong resident of Verona. She graduated from Verona High School with the Class of 1961 and worked as a legal secretary with Kinney, Lisovice, Reilly & Wolf PC in Parsippany. She loved to play BINGO and go to casinos!

She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Anne (nee McCann) Major and her nephew, Richard Lanahan.

Marilyn is survived by her daughters, Lori Dodge Valdes and Kelly Dodge; grandchildren, Kayce, Jake and Alexi Valdes; sisters, Ann Lanahan and Dorothy “Dee” Trimmer (Dale); niece, Barbara Jean Lanahan.

Donations in her memory to Verona Rescue Squad would be greatly appreciated.
