The Verona High School girls and boys soccer teams will be holding a car wash on Sunday, September 19, that will support both teams and Toni’s Kitchen.

The car wash will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the driveway in front of H.B. Whitehorne Middle School. The teams say they will donate a “significant portion” of funds raised to support Toni’s Kitchen, which is the soup kitchen and food ministry of St Luke’s Episcopal Church in Montclair. The suggested donation is $10 per car.

They will also be collecting food items for the soup kitchen, which you can drop off while getting your car washed. The most urgently needed items are peanut butter (not in glass jars), healthy breakfast cereals, tuna, canned beans, pasta and sauce, canned vegetables, oatmeal and snacks.
