Rep. Mikie Sherrill (D-NJ11) will host a benefits briefing and legislative update webinar for veterans today, August 18, at 5:30 p.m. She will be joined by speakers from the Newark Regional Office of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs(VA), as well as the New Jersey VA Health System, Secaucus Vet Center, and New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs.
Speakers will cover topics such as VA disability compensation, veterans pensions, VA home loans, vocational rehabilitation and education, VA health benefits, Vet Centers and readjustment counseling, New Jersey’s veterans service officers, and more.
