We haven’t had one of these for a while: a sports team car wash. The Verona High School football team is kicking off the fall season with a car wash fundraiser on Saturday, August 14 from noon to 3 p.m. in the drive in front of H.B. Whitehorne Middle School in the center of town.
The fundraiser is a pay-what-you-will event, and 100% of the proceeds will benefit the football team.
VHS football has scrimmages on August 17 and September 3, the latter at home, and opens its season on Friday September 10 with an away night game at Lenape Valley. You can view the full varsity football schedule here.
