Let’s paint the town! The Verona Public Library invites you to celebrate Summer Reading by highlighting local businesses and adding some whimsy to the town. The community is invited to paint designated storefront windows with this year’s Summer Reading theme: “Tails and Tales.” Your window design should be inspired by animals (tails) or great stories (tales) and should have a family-friendly theme. We need your artistic talent! All ages are welcome, and families are encouraged to participate.
The Library will also be supporting the Junior Woman’s Club of Verona with its “Packs with Purpose” fundraiser. This annual school supply drive ensures that all Verona students will go back to school with everything necessary to succeed. Space is limited. Entries will be accepted in the order received. Painting will take place on Saturday, August 7 (rain date: Sunday, August 8). Location and time will be assigned. Paint will be provided. Further instructions and details to follow.
