On Thursday evenings at 7 p.m., beginning July 8 and continuing throughout the summer, the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit will gather for the Divine Office of Compline. Compline, a worship service traditionally said before retiring for the evening, is an opportunity to disconnect from day-to-day pressures with a half hour of quiet prayer.
Compline will take place outdoors at the Church at 36 Gould Street. In case of bad weather, the service will take place on Zoom. Check the website, www.holyspiritverona.org, which will be updated by noon on Thursdays.
All are welcome; just bring a chair and the desire for some quiet reflection.
