Pedro Huaman passed away unexpectedly on June 17. Now a GoFundMe fundraiser has been organized to help the family that the young Verona father left behind.
Organizer Patricia Moore writes:
As many of you know Pedro Huaman, a beloved member of our community passed away suddenly last Thursday. Pedro was only 53 years old, and leaves behind his wife Iwona, and their 3 children, Evan, Matthew, and Patrick. Pedro was a devoted father and a loving husband. He worked hard for the entirety of his career to provide for his family. Pedro could be seen happily supporting his children at all of their activities. You could always find him on the sideline at soccer games and track meets; he also took great pride in watching his boys’ involvement in the Verona Music Program. He rarely missed a chance to show up for his children.
He was active in every part of his family’s life. He loved cooking for his family, and took care of everything from the bills to technology. He coached his boys in youth soccer, and was involved in their education, as well as all of their extracurricular activities. He lived his life wanting to to make sure that everyone in his family was cared for, and knew that they were loved and supported. He did it all with a smile and great humor. Pedro Huaman was a remarkable man, that will be greatly missed.
As you can imagine, his passing has left an unimaginable void. Pedro had been the sole breadwinner for many years, so that his wife could stay at home and take care of the family. The family is now faced with many unforeseen expenses that they will have to cover without the support of their loving husband and father; from all general living expenses, to the exorbitant cost of college for the 3 boys. If you could find it your heart to help contribute to this fund, it will help ease the burden and alleviate some of the stress during this very difficult time. Any amount would be greatly appreciated. We have set up an initial goal of $5,000.00. Please feel free to share this so we can reach as many people as possible, so we can show our support for The Huaman family in Pedro’s honor.
