The Friends of the Verona Public Library is once again holding a focused book sale in June, and this time it’s science, nature, hobbies and crafts.
There are fiction and nonfiction titles for adults and children, and everything is stacked up for sale near the Circulation Desk. Prices are $1 for children’s books and adult paperback to $2 for adult hardcovers.
Book lovers should also know that the Friends are once again accepting donations of gently used fiction and non-fiction books. To drop off donations, enter the library from the back door on Gould Street, take the elevator downstairs and place your donations in the marked area at the end of the hallway.
The Friends of the Verona Public Library is a non-profit organization dedicated to the improvement of Verona’s most treasured asset – its library. Since its founding in 1984, the Friends has been supporting the library through financial gifts that provide major support to the full array of the children’s, teen and adult programs in addition to the Library’s audio/hard copy books, technology and furnishings.
