The Big Baseball Rivalry Is Back

It’s baaaack: The annual rivalry game between the Verona and Cedar Grove baseball teams at Yogi Berra Stadium was cancelled last year by the pandemic but it is back on for this year.

The game will be held on Monday, May 24. The gates open at 5:45 p.m. and the game starts at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students and seniors, cash only, please. Tickets for children under 14 wearing Verona or Cedar Grove youth baseball or softball jerseys are only $1.

Proceeds benefit the two high school baseball teams.
