During the pandemic, the Friends of the Verona Public Library had to stop accepting book donations for its big annual sale to benefit the library.
But the Friends are letting it be known that they are once again able to take in gently used fiction and non-fiction books in good condition. (The Friends can’t accept textbooks, magazines, records or cassette tapes.)
The best way to drop off donations is to enter the library from the back door on Gould Street, take the elevator downstairs and place your donations in the marked area at the end of the hallway.
The Friends of the Verona Public Library is a non-profit organization dedicated to the improvement of Verona’s most treasured asset – its library. Since its founding in 1984, the Friends has been supporting the library through financial gifts that provide major support to the full array of the children’s, teen and adult programs in addition to the Library’s audio/hard copy books, technology and furnishings.
