To The Editor.
At a time when we must take our voting right seriously, I hope everyone gets out to vote in the upcoming town council elections. I wish all the candidates the best of luck. I know that whoever is elected to serve Verona will do a fantastic job.
In case you are undecided, allow me to introduce one of the candidates who is running for town council. His name is Chris Tamburro.
I have had the pleasure of calling Chris my friend for a good long time. Chris is a dedicated teacher and member of the Verona Rescue Squad.
As a member of the first aid squad myself, I have answered numerous first aid calls with Chris. He always conducts himself with professionalism, maturity and compassion.
A long time teacher at Verona High School, Chris is a tough, demanding and fair teacher. His students know that they will work hard in his class. Chris works with his students until each and every one of them reaches their hidden potential.
His professional experiences as a high school teacher, the president of the Verona Education Association, and the leadership positions he has held within the Verona Rescue Squad give Chris all the tools needed to run for the Verona Town Council.
