To the Editor:

My husband and I moved to Verona twelve years ago. We moved here because of Verona’s reputation for an excellent school district, its charming downtown, and its amazing sense of community. We chose to live in Verona because we knew that it was the place that we wanted to raise our children. We have never regretted that decision.

The friends that we have made are one of the most significant benefits that we have gained from living in Verona. One of the friendships that we hold most dear is the one we have with the Hyndman family. We have known Jason and Gina Hyndman for four years. Their commitment to their family, their community, and their friends is unparalleled. They are examples of the people who make Verona such a special place to live and raise a family.

Jason Hyndman is running for Verona Town Council. I cannot think of a better candidate for the position. He is a member of the Verona Planning Board and an attorney with the skill set to make sure that Verona can negotiate the best possible deals in development matters. His experience and expertise make Jason an asset to Verona. However, it is his character that will make him an ideal councilperson. Jason is dedicated, hardworking, and committed to making Verona a more sustainable and inclusive community. Jason loves Verona, and like many of us, has chosen this community to raise his children. He is determined to keep Verona the town that we have all fallen in love with, while ensuring its future prosperity.

On May 11th, my husband I will be voting for Jason Hyndman for Verona Town Council. I am confident that this is the right vote for Verona. Jason’s vision for this town is the Verona that we want to continue raising our family.
