Minette’s Angels has scholarship opportunities available for graduating high school seniors. A $1,000 General Scholarship will be awarded to a high school senior from Verona who will be majoring in the medical field. A $1000 Impact Scholarship will be awarded to a graduating high school senior who has been impacted by breast cancer
Applications can be found on minettesangels.org. Scholarships should be submitted on or before April 15.
The Minette’s Angels Foundation was created in 2004 to honor the late Minette Grosso McKenna, a Verona resident and nurse who passed away from breast cancer in 2003. In addition to its scholarships, the Foundation supports breast cancer patients and their families, as well as breast cancer research and treatment facilities at Saint Barnabas Medical Center.
