Rudy Gobert plays for the French national team as well as the Utah Jazz.

Alex Eliasof, a 2010 graduate of Verona High School, has co-directed and produced his first half-hour show for ESPN’s E60 series. The show is called “Man In The Middle” and it focuses on Rudy Gobert, a French basketball player who now plays center for the Utah Jazz.

After leaving VHS, Eliasof earned a degree in broadcast journalism at Penn State and minored in history. At Penn State, he worked as a broadcaster and producer for the university’s weekly newscast and radio station. Eliasof joined ESPN as a production assistant and was promoted to content associate. The next rung on the ESPN ladder is associate producer, and work like the Gobert feature is getting him there.

“Man In The Middle: The Rudy Gobert Story” is available on the ESPN App, and will be on ABC on March 20.
